Answer the questions above. Then you will see whether you can start directly or which step makes sense first.

If everything fits

Order directly

With Pflegegrad 1–5 and care at home, the application can usually be prepared. The care fund then checks the details.

If Pflegegrad is missing

Clarify Pflegegrad first

Without a recognised Pflegegrad there is not yet an entitlement to the monthly Pflegebox. The first step is the Pflegegrad application.

If details are missing

Collect them briefly

Insurance number, care fund and address help avoid follow-up questions. The walkthrough shows where they are needed.

Frequently asked questions

Is Pflegegrad 1 enough?

Yes. Pflegegrad 1 can already be enough for disposable care aids if care takes place at home.

Can I order for a family member?

Yes. The important thing is that the insured person’s details are correct and the declaration is signed correctly.

What happens after the application?

The provider forwards the application to the care fund. After approval, the box is delivered monthly and billed directly.
